This year saw Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia move to the month of May to be inline with the resort season. I was fortunate enough to cover the first three days of Australian Fashion Week. With Sydney’s weather delivering the goods, street style at MBFWA saw lots of flirty dresses, layering with lighter fabrics and bare legs.
The biggest trend that I observed by far was the monochrome colour palette. Closely followed by floral and geometrics prints, denim and Gucci… Lots of it! Alessandro Michele has once again succeeded in dominating the street style scene.
