New York… Noo Yawk! New York is always a good idea! This city that never sleeps is a constant source of fashion inspiration for me. From the person sitting next to you on the A Train, to the fashionistas at Fashion Week. I’m constantly stimulated by the street style in this city. Whether it be thrift shop apparel or high-end labels, one thing the people have in common here is that they own their style, they wear their clothes with confidence. It becomes an extension of their personality rather than pieces of fabric draped on their body. Three of the biggest trends I observed this past season are monochrome, prints and bold colour. Here are some of my favourite looks that I captured during New York Fashion Week.
Monochrome – Making noise without shouting, utilising one colour never looked so good!
Bold Colour – Making a statement with colour is a sure fire bet!
Prints & Pattern – Eye-catching prints and pattern always gets attention!
